Jeep & Canter safari are the best ways to observe wildlife within the national parks of India . Jeeps with groups of tourists, accompanied by a trained guide are allowed into the park at fixed times during the morning and evening. The jeeps have to follow a fixed route and leave the park by the end of the appointed time. At a given time there are limited number of jeeps which can travel on a particular route, apart from jeeps, open vans called canters, which can carry up to 16 people, are also used to carry large groups of people into some of the national parks in India
