    Early Winter
    Oct- Dec
    • Post monsoon, the jungle is lush, green, beautiful and In bloom
    • The population of migratory and local birds is exceptionally high
    • Unique game viewing with many young animals around, visibility for game viewing is somewhat reduced due to thicker vegetation
    • weather— cool mornings and evenings and comfortable days
    Late Winter Jan - Feb
    • Jungle starts to dry and thin out and visibility for game viewing improves
    • weather— cold mornings and evenings with comfortable days
    Early Summer March - April
    • Jungle vegetation continues to thin out
    • Water holes start drying up, and animals begin congregating around water holes making for some excellent viewing opportunities
    • weather— hot days and warm nights (dry heat)
    Late Summer May - June
    • Jungle now very dry and sparse with exceptional game viewing opportunities
    • Water holes start drying up, and animals begin congregating around water holes making for some excellent viewing opportunities
    • weather— hot days and warm nights (dry heat), cooling into June as the monsoon approaches
    Monsoon July - August - September Monsoon Season. Most of the national parks are closed for 3 Months (July/August/September) except in South India
