Overview

About Your Trip

This program offers a unique experience by introducing you to the country's first nature conservancy project. Community Owned Community Operated Nature (COCOON Conservancy) Conservancies represent crucial rewilding efforts outside India’s Protective Area Network. The initiative is rooted in the belief that communities residing closest to our most biodiverse regions should serve as the main beneficiaries and guardians of our dwindling biodiversity.

Moreover, the program includes visits to renowned parks like Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve and Umred Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary, known for their high likelihood of encountering the Bengal Tiger, along with other species such as Leopard, Gaur, Dhole, Sloth Bear, Chausingha, as well as Langurs and Macaques. While the program predominantly focuses on wildlife, it also provides opportunities for wellness activities.

As you explore these parks and engage with the COCOON Conservancy project, you’ll witness firsthand the symbiotic relationship between wildlife conservation and community involvement. This holistic experience not only allows you to marvel at the natural beauty and diversity of India’s wildlife but also highlights the importance of sustainable conservation practices driven by local communities. Join us on this journey to discover the wonders of nature while contributing to its preservation and the well-being of both wildlife and people alike.
